Birch Training Institute (BTI)

Birch Family Services was established approximately 35 years ago to: develop and administer state of the art programs based on best practices, to train staff to implement these programs effectively and to help families become outstanding advocates for their children. In an effort to fulfill its mission, Birch Family Services created the Birch Training Institute (BTI) to provide training, support and guidance to those working with people with developmental disabilities.  Over the past 10 years the BTI has expanded its focus to not only include training and consultation in the area of autism.  Today, training and consultation focus in the following areas:

  • Autism
  • Data Collection
  • Behavior
  • Residential and Day Habilitation
  • Early Childhood Education
  •  Team Building and Conflict Resolution
  • Effective Program/Development Planning
  • Visual Supports
